I like to tell stories utilizing elements from illustration and frame-by-frame animation. I try to limit movements, actions, colors, and objects to put more emphasis on the characters who tell the story from different backgrounds. The story begins with the mom becoming pregnant in the spring. Her daughter grows up and travels far from the family while her mom is getting older and older. In the last scene, the daughter is alone in the spring, like her mother was in the first scene. I have depicted the intertwined life experience shared between a mom and her daughter. I used black pen and watercolor on paper for this personal project.
